So many questions came to mind in regard to the future. Will it be a boy or girl? Who will the child resemble? Will I suffer greatly from morning sickness? What kind of cravings will I develop during the pregnancy? Will I fall victim to the late night pickle munchies? To my surprise, I did not experience any morning sickness or did I get the opportunity to send my husband to the corner store late at night to satisfy any cravings.
There are many aspects that contribute to a successful marriage. Personnel in the military experience many challenges which sometimes create a hardship in their relationships. Trust, Loyalty and Commitment are the three cords that best describes the marriage of Air Force Major, Dr. Julian Thomas, and his wife Tamika.
They say “Stay Calm and Carry On,” but we can’t because it’s our 20th wedding anniversary!!! We have been celebrating this anticipated accomplishment during the past few months with wonderful and meaningful dialog, reminiscing on all the challenges we have overcome throughout the years. This glorious weekend that honors the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to provide our families security, is the perfect time to celebrate a Courageous and Graceful Lifestyle.

Good Friday commemorates the passion, crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ and has always been a somber day for me. Easter Sunday was more colorful and filled with life, as it should since Jesus rose from the dead. As a little girl growing up in Jamaica, Good Friday was an observed public religious holiday and still is a significant day of worship with families.
